Outside of FaithWorks, these men have built strong lives and careers alongside their faith. They plan to bring these strengths to everything they do. Continue below to learn more.
Scott Adams
Scott was raised in Pennsylvania until the age of 8, then, due to a severe skin condition, his parents moved their family cross-country to the dry heat of Arizona, where he finally got relief.
Scott is married to FaithWorks founder, Callie Adams. They have 3 adult children, and He enjoys being a pappy to his 3 grandchildren.
Being a master electrician keeps him busy throughout the week, and he often says, “If you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life.” As an ex-business owner, Scott understands the importance of making time for family and doing ministry. He has a passion for Christ, enjoys studying God's word and having deep conversations about his faith. Scott is a talented drummer with a heart for worship. He loves being a part of the worship team at his home church and looks forward to bringing this passion to community events.
By enjoying downtime at the lake or traveling on adventures with his family, he feels blessed for the freedom he has as a blood-bought child of God.
Rob Glover
Robbie Glover is a licensed minister within the Church of God and is currently pursuing ordination through the Ministerial Internship Program (MIP). He is a devoted husband to Amanda, and father of four, committed to serving others and living out his faith with sincerity and conviction.
Rooted in Pentecostal principles, Robbie has a deep passion for the presence of God and the work of the Holy Spirit. His ministry focuses on inspiring transformation, helping others break free from burdens, and growing in the knowledge of Jesus Christ through practical, Spirit-led teaching.
At his home church, he leads a men’s Sunday School class and serves on the prayer team, standing in the gap for others through intercession.
Robbie is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology at Southern New Hampshire University, with a focus on cybersecurity, while also writing a series of short stories centered on redemption and God’s grace
Jody Johnson
Jody Johnson lives in Calera, Alabama. He has been married to his loving wife, Nikki, for 16 years. They have a son who keeps them wide open at the ballpark. Jody has a passion for bringing the love of Jesus to the kids at the ball park. Speaking life and prayer over them as well as teaching them to pray over their teammates. He enjoys teaching them biblical life lessons through one of America’s greatest pastimes. He’s also an avid outdoorsman, including hunting, fishing, and disc golf. Jody, when not at the Church or a ball field, has served as an EMT/ Firefighter since 2006 for the City of Calera.
Receiving Christ into his heart at age 14 on a coffee table at his Granddad’s home, he spent his teenage years straying far from God until he met Nikki. She provided a firm foundation on God that ignited a passion for the Holy Spirit to do works through his spiritual gifts. Jody takes on many roles at Church on the Rock, serving as an Elder, Usher, and small group leader. Jody has led many small groups, including youth ministry, marriage, financial, and freedom groups. He believes in a God-first, pray-first approach to walking out his faith in Christ. Jody joined Faith Works Ministry in 2026.
Jason Shoebridge
Jason Shoebridge lives in Alabaster, Alabama, and has been married to his wife, Amy, for nearly 21 years.
At 20 years old, Jason encountered the Lord during a season in which he felt lost, searching for purpose, and struggling with a deep sense of worthlessness. In that place, he experienced the truth of God’s love and the transforming power of surrendering his life to Christ. That moment marked the beginning of a journey that would reshape his identity and give him a firm foundation rooted in Jesus.
Over the past several years, Jason has sensed a growing call to minister to men, recognizing the need for men to be bold in their faith and actively engaged in the life of the church. He and his wife currently oversee the First Impressions ministry at their local church, leading and encouraging greeters and ushers to serve with excellence and reflect the love of Christ to others.
Having walked through seasons of personal struggle, including challenges with discipline, anxiety, and depression, Jason carries a testimony of God’s faithfulness and the freedom that comes through fully surrendering to Him. He is passionate about helping men break free from passivity, grow in spiritual discipline, and step into their God-given role as leaders and servants.
Jason has a heart for discipleship, prayer, and accountability, and is deeply committed to helping men understand their identity in Christ and pursue consistent spiritual growth. His desire is to see men strengthened in their faith, equipped to serve, and confident in the calling God has placed on their lives.
David Pavey
David Pavey is a man of steady faith, with a deep love for his family, and a heart to serve others. He has been married to his wife, Stacy, for 31 years, and together they have built a life centered on Christ. They are blessed with three grown children, a son-in-law, a daughter-in-law, and one precious granddaughter who brings so much joy to their lives.
David gave his heart to Jesus at just five years old, and that foundation has shaped the man he is today. His life has consistently reflected a calling to serve. Whether through his early education and training, or his years as a firefighter and paramedic, where he cared for people in some of their most critical and vulnerable moments.
Today, David works in the construction field, specializing in fire sprinkler protection, where he continues to play a role in protecting lives, just in a different way. No matter the setting, he brings integrity, wisdom, and a servant’s heart to everything he does.
David is known for his calm, steady presence and his genuine desire to help others. He leads quietly but powerfully, always pointing people back to the hope and truth found in Jesus.
At his core, David is a family man, a faithful follower of Christ, and someone who lives out his faith in everyday life.
